Hello, friends!

One of the great joys of publishing a book is hearing from readers. When a friend calls or a reader sends a note to share the quotes or excerpts that most resonated with them, it’s always a lovely surprise. We would love to know which quotes and excerpts in LADY BE GOOD resonated with you. And what better way to share your favorite excerpts than to read them aloud on camera? We invite you to send in your video reading. The reader with the most outstanding video will win a $250 gift card for Fortunoff Fine Jewelry!

As some of you know, Fortunoff’s is mentioned in LADY BE GOOD (they’re celebrating their 100th anniversary!). All the Fortunoff women are extraordinary… Helene reigned over the business for decades, mentored women, and left an indelible mark on the industry; and her wonderful daughters, Ruth and Esther, have carried on the legacy. Ruth owns RFC Fine and Esther owns Fortunoff Jewelry –the collections are divine. I love supporting women owned businesses.

Here’s the information.

  1. Choose your favorite quote(s) or excerpt(s) from LADY BE GOOD.
  2. Record the reading. It can be a simple reading, or you can be creative with the setting, wardrobe, etc. The reading can be as long or short as you like.
  3. Submit your video to pamelahamiltonoffice@gmail.com.
  4. If the file it too large to send via email, you can use the free service wetransfer.com.
  5. I’ll post updates and announce the winner on Facebook and Instagram @pamelahamiltonauthor, and on this page. You may also sign up for news on the contact page.
  6. For those of you who are camera shy, you’re welcome to send the text and we’ll try to include it in our video.
  7. Be sure to submit your video (or text) by October 21, 2022.
